Meet The Pastor

With out exception, we believe that the Holy Spirit of Acts is still the same today and that Pentecost Power is a necessity to properly carry out the Great Commission. We are passionate in our proclamation of the Pentecostal message according to the Book of Acts, and that which was good and necessary for the First Church is also good and necessary for the Church in these Last Days.

Cross Way Ministries was raised up by the Lord not only to carry on the Pentecostal Heritage of the Early Church, but to also restore to the modern Church the much needed message of the Cross. 1 Corinthians1:18, “For the preaching of the Cross is to them who perish foolishness, but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.”

The One Truth that separates us from most all other groups is the Doctrine of Sanctification by Faith in The Cross as it was taught by the Apostle Paul. A Bible Truth that Satan has successfully hid from the Church in these Last Days. Please understand Satan does not want the Believer to have victory over sin after Salvation, he wants the Believer to live a defeated life, therefore Satan has cunningly removed this Truth from the Pulpit of the Church.

Paul taught that the Church is Sanctified (made Holy) by the same means we are saved, Grace through Faith. The Greek word for Sanctification is “Hagiazo” which means “To Make Holy”. In other words God does it, God does the making and we are to submit to it. Anything of Divine Nature such as Holiness, God has to do it. Flesh can not perfect flesh. Simply put, the same object of Faith that saves (The Death of Jesus Christ on The Cross) must also be depended upon through Faith for a life that is pleasing to God.

The person who parks the Cross at Salvation forfeits the grand tour of the proper route for living for God. Most all other groups teach that once a person is saved they are to then revert to law or the dogma of man which is carried out through various programs and activities (works) in order to live a life that's pleasing to God. This puts man on the Throne and positions God to accept mans performance, which He can not do. We believe based on Scripture that the same God who is able to save is also well able to provide a victorious life over sin. But it is based on Gods performance and not mans performance. This is the only way the Believer can have victory over sin.

Please understand we are not promoting sinless perfection but we are promoting a victorious life where sin does not have dominion over the believer. A place where sin does not rule and dominate the Child of God. Romans 6:14, “For sin shall not have dominion over you: For you are not under Law (any kind of law), but under Grace.” This is carried out not because Grace winks at sin by any means but because Grace deals strongly with sin when we make the Cross the object of our Faith. Romans 8:2, “For the Law of the Spirit of life In Christ Jesus (Faith in The Cross) has made me FREE from the Law of sin and death”.

Again one must understand Grace does not look the other way concerning sin (Romans 6:2) but Grace is the Power House where the grip of sin is broken, provided our Faith is properly anchored in the Cross of Christ. Hebrews 10:10, “We are Sanctified through the offering of the Body of Jesus Christ once for all.” At least all that will believe.

We are talking about everything that is necessary to live for and properly serve a Righteous and Holy God. 2 Peter 1:3, “According as His divine power as given unto us all things that pertain unto life and Godliness, through the knowledge of Him (What He did on the Cross) who has called us to glory and virtue”. The message of the Cross will set you free from the bondage of sin, the bondage of law, and the bondage of religion.
